Submission FAQ

Can I ship samples from outside Canada?

Yes. We accept international mail-in samples. Please contact us before shipping so we can provide the correct import documentation and ensure no customs delays. Samples from the US can typically be shipped with a commercial invoice stating "analytical testing samples, no commercial value."

Do I need to refrigerate or freeze samples during shipping?

Lyophilized peptides are generally stable at room temperature for short transit periods (1–3 days). For sensitive peptides or solutions, we recommend shipping with a cold pack. Please do not ship on dry ice without contacting us first, as this may affect customs clearance and sample receipt procedures.

What if I only have a small amount of sample?

Contact us before shipping if your available quantity is below the minimum listed above. In some cases, we can adjust the protocol or prioritize tests to work with limited material. We will never use more sample than required.

How will I receive my Certificate of Analysis?

Your COA is delivered as a signed, watermarked PDF to the email address provided in your requisition form. A copy is also stored in our LIMS accessible to you upon request. We do not share results with any third party without your explicit written consent.

Can I request a rush turnaround?

Yes. Rush 2–3 business day service is available for most standard tests (HPLC purity, ESI-MS) at an additional fee. Rush requests must be confirmed before sample shipment. Contact us at +1 (416) 000-0000 or info@certbiohealth.ca to confirm availability.
